the gear to the oval
o Students who dont carry gear
can do a lap of the soccer pitch to
warm up.
9:15 - Gather students and intro the lesson
9:20 - Throwing Drill
o In pairs, stand across the mid line
with a decent distance between
them.
o Students must attempt to obtain
3 consecutive successful passes.
o Once they have obtained this,
take 2 steps back and go again.
While students are
throwing, set up the field.
Two pop up goals 5m
in front of soccer
goals.
Cones at each corner
of the field and on
either side of the
midline
Middle
9:25-9:30 D around the
lacrosse goals starting
roughly 4m out.
- Split students into two teams
o Red crosses = team 1
9:30 o Blue crosses = team 2
If time allows, use the pairs
to divide the teams.
- Gameplay.
o Captains and positions
2 defense, 2 offense, 4
midfield
8 players on field at a time.
o Modified rules
3 consecutive possessions
