Praxis Reflection

Praxis was an ordeal that one needs to overcome to get a job with specific
demands. They are meant to test a student for their knowledge of a certain subject
and see if they could work in such a high demanding job. Praxis looking back at it
isnt so bad; yes the test change, but sometimes that was what was needed. The
Praxis test for Elementary Education Multiple Subjects were all met, the Core
Academic Skills were met, and the PLT/Teaching Reading is still pending.

Elem Ed: Science was a 189 score, Elem Ed: Social Studies was a 176 score,
Elem Ed: Mathematics was a 158 score, and Elem Ed: Reading & Language Arts was
a 157 score. All of these tests with the exception of Mathematics were done on the
first try. The Mathematics actually took multiple tries to complete and it was done
by the skin of my teeth. The Core Academic Skills were similar with the Reading and
Writing being done on the first try, but the Math taking several tests to finally scrap
by the score minimum.

Teaching Reading: Elementary Education and the PLT: Grades k-6 is the only
tests that I need now. At the moment I do not know what I have made on them, but I
do know that I took them April, the scores should be coming back soon.

The Praxis is meant to test you, but I believe it test just how much you want
something. I had to be Tutor for those Math lessons just for both test over a period
of months. I tried my hardest and I go so far, and now only one bit remains.
