Classroom Video Reflection

Task five was an assignment given to us during our time as student teachers. It consisted

of us making a video of us teaching a classroom how to do out selected field. Mine was math

money measuring with Mrs. Guills second grade classroom. The video has its flaws and I can

easily tell that as I re-watched it to write the narrative for it.

Honestly I had to watch myself, not because I am afraid of seeing myself make mistakes,

but rather not being able to stand seeing myself in a video. The lesson itself went over somewhat

well with students listening and some students not so much. It is an interesting experience to

watch yourself teach, I saw a couple of times where my eyes should have been rather than were

they were. Honestly I believe that this helped me out to be attentive to the classroom around me

and kept me from doing silly mistakes.
