Prior knowledge of learners: ICP learner and have been exposed to all math areas
but are yet to make this knowledge concrete.
Lesson objectives: To use different materials and strategies to help in concreting
concepts of Math.

Evidence of learning: Students books, whiteboards (take photos of).

Resources: Math Mental books, MAB blocks, pencils, whiteboards and markers,
number lines.

Lesson Read through questions and break up what is being asked

Engagement of the

Lesson Body 1st student uses a large whiteboard and with help from
myself draws up a hundred chart to help with counting on

is doing so. This student will be working in Math Mental

Lesson Conclusion Talk about what the students have achieved in the lesson and
praise their hard work. Use follow up questions on the areas

Evaluation / Reflection: With breaking up the question and using encouraging


language has helped with motivating these students. Both students love and want to
use the computers so possibly looking into ways where this could be an educational
purpose.
