Philippine Agenda: Trabaho at Gutom (Work and Hunger)

Education is the foundation of your career in the future and the effects of not getting the

proper education bring about lack of opportunities as a productive person. Every family

needs financial support which can be obtained through employment. A stable job means

a stable source of income. The economy is link to its citizen, some effects of

unemployment are fewer taxes revenue this will have a large impact on the

governments finances. No job means no money to buy goods for their needs and

wants, Lower economic growth (GDP) as a result, the output of goods and services in

the economy, GDP, will be lower. This also has an impact on government taxation and

spending will negatively affect their finances. Filipinos choose to work abroad because

the salary isnt enough to support their family the reason why brain drain is rising

because some of the OFWs are professional workers that is needed in the country.

Poverty is one of the main problem in our society the government is responsible to this

quandary, people must cooperate and educated to prevent more population that may

lead to hunger. I think all people must help one another. We must start within ourselves

to help others.
