In Lees article, she exploits not only the negatives, but also the positives of having gun
control on any college campus. This is a useful source because the information and
interviews conducted provide an inside prospective on why college students should and
should not be allowed to carry guns on campus. Addressing the safety side, it shows safer

provide evidence into my proposal of why guns should not be allowed on campuses for
the safety of not only younger children but even the grown more knowledgeable college
students at public and or private universities. The article shows the difference between

Focusing on the gun laws, campus officials speak upon the wake of recent events with
shooting surrounding college campuses. With the information in this article, I will be able
too use the examples of the Kansas legislation and Arkansas bill to provide further
support upon why schools should ban the carry of such harmful instruments knowing the
concealed carry laws. The article provides information on how states are continuing the
fight to construe the idea of open carry on schools and universities nationwide.
