Job History: - Symons Ambulance (July 2016 to Present)

Experience: - EMT at Symons Ambulance, I have worked on a BLS unit and have also
worked CCT calls. As an EMT I evaluate patients, provide first aid care,
provide basic life support level of care, triage, place patients on four lead
ECG, monitor vital signs, record patient care reports, emergency medical
transport, inter-facility transport, maintenance the ambulance and
equipment, daily checkouts of equipment, provide moral support for
patients family members, and provide patient care and comfort.

- Volunteer, at Loma Linda University Murrieta in the ER and ICU. As a
volunteer I would help the techs with duties, restock the linens inside of
the rooms, restock the baskets with nasal cannulas and non-rebreathers,
update the boards, pass out water and warm blankets to patients, talk to
patients and provide a warm smile and listening ear.

- Wildland Urban Interface Crew Member at the Pechanga Fire Station. I
was on a seasonal wildland urban interface crew. As a crew member I
would cut brush and remove fire hazards from the homes at the Indian
Reservation. I worked with the fire station and tribal members to
promote fire prevention. I was also responsible for recording the
progress of the program by using a GPS system to project maps of the
areas that were cleared from fire hazards.

- College Tutor for the Avid Program at the Hemet Unified School
District. As a college tutor I would provide group tutoring for middle
school students in math and science. I was responsible for multiple
groups at a time and worked with teachers to provide special tutoring
programs for the students that where falling behind. I was also
responsible for recording the students progress and speaking with
parents about their childs progress.

- Intern: Prior to becoming an EMT I did a ride along with AMR and a
clinical at Inland Valley Medical Center. As an intern I took and recorded
vital signs, learned how to assess the nature and extent of illnesses of
patients. I also learned that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical
 field because in the medical field your job is to truly care for the well
being of others and provide the best possible service through love,
compassion, and excellence.
