Job Purpose : Contributes to the overall success of the organization by

effectively managing all financial tasks for the organization.

Responsible :
1. Managing accounting functions in processing data and information to produce the
financial statements required by companies accurately and on time.

2. Coordinate and control the planning, reporting and payment of corporate tax liability to
be efficient, accurate, timely, and in accordance with applicable government regulations.

3. Plan, coordinate and control cash flow, especially the management of accounts receivable
and debts, thus ensuring the availability of funds for the company's operations and the
health of the financial condition.

4. Plan and coordinate budget preparation, and control the use of the budget to ensure
effective and efficient use of funds in supporting the operations of the company.

5. Plan and coordinate the development of financial and accounting systems and
procedures, and control their implementation to ensure that all financial processes and
transactions are in an orderly and orderly fashion, and reduce financial risk.

6. Coordinate and perform financial planning and analysis to be able to provide input from
the financial side for the leadership of the company in making business decisions, whether
for investment, expansion, operational or other financial conditions.

7. Plan and consolidate the taxation of all companies to ensure cost efficiency and
compliance with tax regulations

Qualifications
Background : Knowledge, skills and abilities :
1. Education : Knowledge of generally accepted
University degree or college diploma in accounting principles
Accounting, Commerce, or Business Knowledge of federal and provincial
Management/Administration.

2. Professional designation : Knowledge of provincial legislation on
Chartered Accountant, Certified General Employment Standards, Occupational
Accountant, Brevet A-B or Certified Health and Safety, and Human Rights
Management Accountant designation is an Knowledge of the voluntary sector

3. Experience :
3 to 5 years of progressive financial
responsibility
Proficiency in the use of computer programs for: Working Conditions

Job Description

Daily :
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are
appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP).
Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts
payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger,
accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
Process and submit statutory and benefits remittances on time.

Monthly :
Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
Reconcile bank and investment accounts.
Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and
accurate manner.
Yearly :
Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's
Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary.
Assist the Executive Director and the Board Treasurer with financial
reporting as required at Board meeting and the Annual General
Meetings.
Assist Program Directors and Project Managers with the preparation
of budgets for funding applications
