DIARY

First, I am going to collect all of the assets that I need this includes and music my sound
effects and voice recordings that will be done by myself and also collect things such as
the background and my character and anything else that I will be wanting to include in
my animation. My main source is going to be google. And these will be saved in an
appropriate folder.

I have found an image that in want to

use in Photoshop however because it
doesnt look the way that I want it to I am
going to edit it to make it look more like
my original design that I have drawn on
my storyboards. So by using the
slimtablet so that I am able to draw more
accurately I will be using the pain toll and
also the eyedropper tool so that I am
able to make the colours the same that
are already used on the. Seen as I have
made my character off a basic idea from
google this is going to have to be a step
that I repeat for all of my character.

Now that I have worked in Photoshop this

is what my character looks like and when it
is compared the image that I have done
looks more like what I want it to look like I
have designed when I did my storyboards. I
have carr1ied this out with my other
characters as this is to make them look
how I wanted to look. Here is the final look
of all three of my characters.

Cropped Original

I also had to resize the image

that I will be using for my
background and simply did this
just by cropping it.
Now I am going to start by actually
creating the stage for my animation
by opening up flash and setting my
stage size. Here is me doing so by
opening a new document and going
into the file tad and clicking on new.
Then changing the settings that I
need to such as the background
col9ur that I chose mine to be black
and the size of the stage as this is
where my characters will be placed.

Now I will import my background and

all of the characters that I am going
to need to create my animation once
again going to the file tab and then
import I will select all of the images
that I am going to need to create my animation
and select import to library.

Now the images that I have imported will appear

in the library that is to the right of the screen.

AIM:
add in all of the movements needed for my
characters. 28/02/2017

I have now started to place my characters where

I want them to go and I have started to place
them on the stage and ready to make them
move I have done this by adding in a tween
motion to actually make it so that I am able to make it look like my characters are
moving and to give them the look of moving side to side and facing each other I used the
3D rotation tool. Here is how all of my character are laid out in layers so therefore it
makes it easier for me to know what it is that I am working with and also where my
character is on the screen.
How I created my motion tween:

Drag a symbol from your library to the

stage to a new layer. The symbol is added
to Frame 1. For example, position the
symbol in the upper-right corner of the
stage, which is where the motion will begin.
Right-click the first frame of the layer your
symbol is on and choose Create Motion
Tween from the contextual menu that
appears. A shaded span of frames a

tween span appears on the

Timeline, and the layer is
converted to a tween layer. A
tween layer, as the name
suggests, is a layer that
contains one or more motion
tweens. Tween layers become
dedicated to animation and
cannot hold other items that
are not related to that
animation. To create
animation, you can move the
play head to different points
along the tween span and
make changes to your objects
appearance or position. Drag
the play head to a new frame
and then reposition your
symbol. For this example, drag
it to Frame 15 and repositioned
the symbol in the middle of the
stage, slightly toward the
bottom. A new key frame
(which appears as a bullet
point) has been created
automatically at this frame to mark the change. Drag the play head to another frame and
move the symbol instance to another location on the stage. For this example, drag it to
Frame 24 and repositioned the symbol in the upper-left corner of the stage. In addition to
another key frame, a motion path is created on the stage to show the path of animation
the symbol will take.

Also to make sure that I have done all of the right timings throught my work I had the
script infron of me and wrote out all of the timings for how long it takes to say the scrip
and at what point and times certain mvements will happen. Here is the document that I
have written on to show this. This also made things easier as I am able to know at what
points my characters do certain movemets and at what frames things will be happerning
and what it is that I ned to be animating and also what movemnets they are making and

AIM
To add in some audio into my animation and also collect the assets for doing so.
01/03/2017

Following this and also using the script I am able to plan oput the whole of my animation
with so much more ease than having to just use the audio that I have recourded. Alsoq
by using my script this allows me to know what it is that I
need to say as I will later on be recourding and then
adding into my animation. Seen as I am going to be
collecting the assets from youtube this means that it is
very likley that the audio is going to be too long therefor I
will need to use some software so that I am able to edit the
audio down and make it so that it fits in with my animation
and to do this I will be using audacity to crop down my
clips. Here are all of the recourded audio clips for my
animatio0n now I will need to edirt them down and cut out
anything I dont need. Im going to import theses clips into
audacity.

Seen as when I recorded my audio I did them all as

separate this meant that I didnt need to use audacity
and was able to just import the audio and then place it
where I want it to go and it fitted in with all of the
other clips.

AIM
To finish off my animation and had it in on time ready
for the deadline 02/03/2017

I have used audacity to cut down the background

music and make it so that it fits in within my animation
and also so that the music finishes when the whole of
the animation finishes I then imported the audio to
stage just like I have done with all of the other parts of
audio. Now that I have finished my animation I am
going to export it.

PUBLISHING
EVIDENCE
file and then export and make sure that it is exported in
the right format and also that it is saved in the right place along with all of my assets.
Publish my work and check the settings.

And here is my animation published and saved with

my work
