Training Course REVISED

FORMATION REHABILITATION AND QUALITY CONTROL
for
Officers and Staff (Engg.) of Zonal Railways
at
Geotechnical Engineering Directorate of RDSO, LUCKNOW
FRQC Course is being conducted to develop better understanding of GE aspects in terms of
execution of earthwork in open line as well as construction units of zonal railways. This is a
refresher type of course to the working railway engineers by which they get the updates of
following aspects:
Soil Testing as compatible with World Railways,
Soil Classification along with CBR value,
Slope Stability & Construction techniques for Heavy Axle loads,
Application of Geo-grid, Fly Ash etc. in new formations,
Ground Improvement Techniques for Sub Soil
Rehabilitation Techniques (for present Scenario) and
Quality Control of Earthwork along with record keeping etc.
Total 14 nos. of courses have been planned for JS/SS Officers & Supervisors in the calendar
year 2017. The schedule of the courses is given as below:
