Uslov za praenje predmeta jesu poloeni ispiti "Brodska elektrotehnika i elektronika I i
II" i Brodski elektrini ureaji.
COURSE GOALS:
Upoznavanje studenata sa brodskom elektrinom propulzijom tradicionalni i moderni
sistemi. Kompletan kurs je usklaen sa STCW'10 konvencijom (Tabela A-III/6) i IMO
model kursom 7.08 (paragrafi 1.1.8.1, 1.1.8.2, 1.2.1.1, 1.4.3.1).

STUDENTS' WORKLOAD FOR THE COURSE:

Necessary preparations before the semester start
Structure: (administration, enrolment, verification): 2 x (4 hours)
2 hours of lectures = 8 hours

make-up exam, including the exam (0 to 30).

METHODS OF KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT AND MARKING:
4 testa po 2.5 pena (10 poena);
Test I, 20 points;
Test II, 20 points;
Final exam, 50 points;
Positive mark requires not less than 50 points cumulatively.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR THE COURSE: If necessary, the course can be delivered in
English.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Nakon poloenog ispita iz predmeta Brodska elektrina propulzija studenti e biti sposobni da:
- opiu, analiziraju i razumiju funkcionisanje brodske propulzije;
- analiziraju funkcionisanje DC pogona;
- analiziraju funkcionisanje AC pogona.

- Podded Propulsion Systems

- explains the functions and tasks of control systems of the main propulsion
and auxiliary machinery
- sketches block diagrams of main propulsion control systems
- describes main propulsion control systems used in normal conditions and in
emergency
- explains the principle of propulsion control changeover in emergency (use of
engine telegraph)
- describes the safety systems of main propulsion (the blockade of the start,
shut-down and slow-down)
