Students will be implementing their skip-counting to count out the correct (2.5A) Determine the value of a collection of
amount of coins needed to make given purchase prices. coins up to one dollar.
Purpose-
(2.5B) Use the cent symbol, dollar sign, and the
decimal point to name the value of a collection
of coins.
Students will be using money as they grow and it is important for them to know
how to count money to buy things they need and want.
