Understandings:
Students will further understand the difficulty of personal adaptation as it relates to
their final assessment. Students will learn about the difficulty of personal adaptation
through a guest speaker.

What does it mean to personally adapt? Why is personal adaptation difficult?

I can: understand the difficulty of personal adaptation through listening to a guest
speaker.

Notes to Self My ideal guest speaker would be someone who has a fascinating
story about their immigration into the United States.but I also
dont know if this is too political
Perhaps I could have some parents come in and talk about
