Bester Elementary School

Greetings! Bester Elementary School is having a STEM career day where a wide range of
professionals will be coming and talking to our students about how they use science,
technology, engineering, or math in their daily jobs. We want to inspire our students and
community to pursue careers in these subjects. The best way to inspire them is to meet
successful men and women in these fields.

On Thursday, May 4, from 5:30-7:30, we are going to have our STEM career day. We will
have our 4th and 5th grade students leading STEM stations so that other students and people
from the community can engage in STEM activities. We also plan to have a variety of STEM
professionals showcasing the great things happening in these fields.

If you are available for this wonderful and interactive evening, we would like you to be
prepared with some simple hands on demonstrations or activities so that students, families, and
community members could go to your station and learn more about what you do. Your
generosity will greatly contribute to our goal of inspiring our students to pursue STEM careers.
