RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. The Conrods and BAJA SAEINDIA are non-commercial organisations. All the funds raised will go directly to
overcome the expenses of event only.
2. The sponsorship should be approved by The Conrods at least before one month in advance of the event.
3. The sponsors will have no control over the design and fabrication of the vehicle.
4. The sponsors will have no role in the administration of the team.
5. The maximum sponsorship amount is constrained to Rs 4 lakhs.
6. Cash will not be accepted.
7. The sponsors should fix to the type of sponsorship as decided at the time of submission of form.
8. All the transactions should be made directly with The Conrods, SRM University, Chennai.
9. The team will not involve in any kind of sales of the company’s products.
10. The sponsorship is valid till the completion of BAJA SAEINDIA 2011.
11. The following companies are categorised as Unacceptable Sponsors:
a) Weapons Manufacturers
b) Ammunition Manufacturers
c) Cigarette, Tobacco Manufacturers
d) Liquor Manufacturers

SPONSORSHIP AMOUNT:

The sponsorship in the form of direct money is highly encouraged because of its flexibility. The maximum
amount of sponsorship is constrained to Rs. 4 lakhs. The amount can be paid only by demand draft and
cheques. Our bank account details will be informed to you as and when the sponsorship is confirmed.

MATERIAL SPONSORSHIP:

The companies can also sponsor materials which are required for the team in designing and fabricating the
vehicle. The materials include steel pipes, required metals, automotive components, fasteners, office
supplies, team apparel, safety equipment, measuring instruments, machine tools, power and hand tools.
Other relevant materials will also be considered for sponsorship after prior approval from the team
authority.

SERVICES SPONSORSHIP:

Sponsorship in the form of services like tele-communication, internet facility, courier, transportation of
vehicle, food and accommodation during the event, team’s travel, printing, and others are humbly accepted.
