Quinn Allison Kropschot, 87, died Oct. 17, 2084, in La Quinta, Calif.

She was
born on May 8, 1997, to the late Holly Kropschot and Franklin Mayhew Kropschot in
Houston. Kropschot was the oldest sister to Robert Connor Kropschot and the mother of
twins. Kropschot enjoyed spending her summers in her family compound in Tobermory,
Ontario. Kropschot enjoyed swimming and surfing and was raised in Manhattan Beach,
Calif.
As a teenager, Kropschot excelled in academics, social and interpersonal skills.
Quinn was involved in the mother-daughter philanthropic organization National Charity
League (NCL), and completed over 500 hours of community service. Kropschot was
editor-in-chief of her school newspaper La Vista and dedicated many hours to producing
the best paper possible.
After graduating from Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Kropschot
attended the University of Maryland where she studied communication and public
leadership. Kropschot was a member of Delta Gamma and took an active role in leading
others. After completing undergraduate at UMD, Kropschot later attended graduate
school at the University of Southern California where she continued her studies of
communication.
Post college education, Kropschot enjoyed an active career in public relations and
brand management. Kropschot managed several major corporate accounts including
SmartWater, Apple and Target. She was responsible in cultivating all social media posts
and interacting with consumers. Kropschot later married Richard Davis, a successful
stockbroker in Los Angeles. Richard was an active philanthropist and together they
served on the board of Special Olympics and the Richstone Family Foundation. Richard
and Kropschot settled down in Santa Monica, CA and they eventually had a set of
fraternal twins, William and Bailey.
Kropschot was a lively woman and was loved by many. Kropschot spent her time
giving back to her local community, going to the beach and attending music festivals
until she was well into her 70s. Kropschot was a woman who possessed an incredible
ability to tell stories and communicate with others. Kropschot was always throwing
cocktail parties and gatherings for influential members of the community.
Kropschot continued to vacation at her summer home in Canada where she
continued to foster relations with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Kropschot
loved to travel and visited over 40 countries in her lifetime. Her favorite place to vacation
was Greece and could be found every spring in Mykonos.
Kropschots greatest accomplishment was the amount of philanthropic work that
she did throughout her lifetime. Kropschot donated thousands of dollars to various
organizations but more importantly, Kropschot donated hours of her time to others.
Kropschot loved to help those less fortunate than herself and was constantly seen helping
others. Kropschot was active in her church and remained an active parishioner at
American Martyrs located in her hometown of Manhattan Beach. Kropschot served as an
usher and as a religion educator to youths.
Survivors include two children, Bailey Kathleen Davis and William Mayhew
Davis. Both children reside in Los Angeles. Quinn is also survived by her grandchild,
Nicholas Blake Davis.
Quinn was a social activist and was always concerned about the rights of others. Her
family requests that memorial contributions be made to Special Olympics of Los Angles,
located at 4518 Knox Road, Los Angeles, CA 90266.
For the past eight years, Quinn lived at Pacific Beach Adult Care Home. A private
memorial service will be held at American Martyrs with a reception at the Manhattan
Beach Country Club.
