Know all men by these presents that we Charles C Hascall & Nancy his wife of County of Oakland
Territory of Michigan in consideration of fifty dollars to us paid by Calvin C. Parks of said County the
receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do by these presents give grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said Calvin C. Parks his heirs and assigns a certain parcel of land situate in said County bounded and
described as follows viz: one fourth of the East half of the North East quarter of Section thirteen
Township four north of range ten East supposed to be by admeasurement twenty acres being an
undivided quarter of said described Lot Subject however to the following incumbrances To wit The
incumbrances of a certain mortgage on said Lot heretofore executed by one Leman Barnes & wife to
John Burtis his assigns & also reserving the privilege of using the Limestone wood &c on said Lot
agreeable to a certain Deed executed by said Leman Barnes to the said Charles C. Hascall dated the
fourteenth day of May A.D. 1830 Together with all the privileges and appurtenances save the above
exceptions to the said land in any wise appertaining and belonging To have and to hold the above
granted premises to the said Calvin C. Parks his heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof
forever: And we the said Chas C & Nancy for our heirs executors and administrators do covenant with the
said Calvin C Parks his heirs and assigns that we are lawfully seized in fee save the above exception of
the aforegranted premises; that they are free from all incumbrances; that we have good right to sell and
convey the same to the said Calvin C. Parks as aforesaid; and that we will, and our heirs executors and
administrators shall Warrant and defend the same to the said Calvin C. Parks his heirs and assigns
forever, against the lawful demands of all persons

In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the twelfth day of November in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two

Oakland County } ss: Be it remembered that on the 12th day of November A.D. 1832 personaly
[sic] appeared before me the within named Chas C. Hascall & Nancy his wife know to me to be the
persons who executed the within deed & severally acknowledged that they executed the same for the
purposes therein expressed at the same time the said Nancy was examined by me separate and apart
from her said husband where she acknowledged that she executed the same as aforesaid without fear or
compulsion of her husband
