SCHOOL NEWS
Dear Families,
On behalf of the faculty I would like to extend my most sincere appreciation to all our Volun-
teers for supporting St. Columba this year. We attribute the success of our school year and
fundraisers to the team effort from our families, students, faculty and staff, parishioners and of
course the surrounding community. This team effort has allowed us to provide our students with
a strong well-rounded faith-based education as well as memorable activities and events. We
are in need of volunteers for the Golf Tournament. Please sign up at http://signup.com/go/
Q3ab4u. This will be a good opportunity to fulfill the remainder of your service hours. St.
Columba will continue to dedicate itself towards ensuring that its students come to learn the
true meaning of being disciples of God and receive quality education that will prepare them
for their future endeavors.
We are now half way through the fourth quarter with less than 4 weeks to complete the
2016/2017 school year. If you have any concerns about your childs grades, please contact
their homeroom teacher as soon as possible. The last day for the Eighth graders is on Tuesday,
May 30, 2017. All final assignments for the Eighth Grade are due by Friday, May 26, 2017.
The last fundraiser and community celebration will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Admiral
Baker Park. We are still in need of more golfers for the Golf Tournament. Please visit the Golf
Tournament website at www.stcolumbaholyopen.com. Following the golf tournament will be
our end of the year family barbeque. Hope to see many of you there.
Happy Mothers Day to all our Beautiful Moms!

In Christ,
Ms. Navarro
