I, KRISANA .M, hereby declare that this project report entitled A STUDY ON EFFECTIVENESS OF
GRIEVANCE HANDLING AT INSTUMENTTATION LIMITED is submitted to University of Calicut to
partial fulfillment of the requirement for the award of the degree of Master of Business Administration. This is a
bonafide record of a work undertaken by me during the period of study at Ahallia School of Management,
Kozhippara, Palakkad under the guidance of Ms. Sangeetha madam.

The imperial findings in this report are based on the data collected from INSTRUMENTATION LTD,
PALAKKAD. I further declare that this project has not being fully or partially submitted to any other
Institutions or University for the award of any degree, diploma or recognition thereof.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The project study was undertaken at Instrumentation Limited Palakkad. The duration of the study was 21 days.
The main objective of the study is to analysis the effectiveness of grievance handling mechanism at ILP.

The study goes through by descriptive method and carried out by setting up certain well defined objectives. The
study is limited to those objectives. Data collection was made using primary as well as secondary data. Primary
data was collected through questionnaire from the sample size formulated by the way of convenient sampling
method among total employees of the company. Secondary data was collected from published sources like
manuals, existing records of the company, existing project reports etc..

The sample size of 100 (employees) are for the study. For each sample the questionnaire is given and received
directly. The questionnaire is formulated in order to extract the opinions. View and feelings of the employees
regarding the grievance handling are collected and analyzed by the way of percentage method.

The findings from the research and suggestions are submitted to personnel manager for further action.
