Topics and Contents for Our Newsletter?

WHO IS OUR AUDIENCE?

Their
location?
What to they do? How do they spend their time?

What age group?

What would be interesting to our specific audience?

Brainstorming together
Select
possible 6-8 topics
Which type of contents will they be?
Collecting Info on the Topics
Newsletter articles = only a paragraphs (or less!)
Important:
Collecting
only what you need, not everything
Organizing info in the writing (organize your writing!)
HOW???

Strategy: think about information I need to collect

by brainstorming questions I need to answer
What information would our audience need/want on
the specific topic?
Lets Practice
Example topics:
Upcoming Events at TLC
Clean Energy? Food Waste?
What is your favorite food?
Word Studying App

1) What type of contents will fit these topics?

2) Come up with a list of questions
In-Class Example

Type of Content: Interview/Stories of People
