I can boldly say that Prayers and Fasting changes situations from the impossible to the
possible. I can state that I have witnessed what God has done in my life and in this
country through prayers and fasting.
As Jesus said, through Prayers and Fasting every door knocked will be opened and every
request made will be answered. We must seek and surely we will find.
Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened
to you Matthew 7:7-8
When you pray and fast, the enemy will never defeat you and God will give you success
and provide for all your needs by your faith in Him.
Lets pray God to give us His Spirit to intercede on our behalf and make our requests
known before God.
In the same way, the spirit helps us in our weakness for we do not know how what we
ought to pray Romans 8:26
Faith in Prayer
And without faith, its impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him
must believe that he exists and that he rewards all those who earnestly seek Him
Hebrews 11:6
Jesus taught His disciples to pray without getting tired so as to overcome Satan. By
Prayers and Fasting we get more strength in our spirits in our Christian journey and we
get to know the will and plan of God in our lives.
In my Ministry work, God has answered my prayers and fasting in all my personal
requests to him and I can say He has changed my life more than I expected. He has also
given me grace to see our country change to the better.
Its worth noting that our country has peace and all the tribes are living happily together
by the constant prayers and fasting offered on behalf of our country.
As regards our leaders, God has brought God fearing people into leadership through
prayers and fasting and am sure that God will prosper our country when we have
prayerful leaders who fear the Lord.
Our country Kenya has received enough rain and we are not hungry and this is evidence
of prayers and fasting answered by God. He has given us plenty to eat and we are not
begging foreign countries for food.
In security matters, the terrorists will not win this war as God has a better plan for our
lives. Through prayers and fasting Kenya will be continue being a peaceful country that
fears God and prays to Him every time.
How to pray
When praying, we should know that there is power in prayer. We should first recognize
that our God is very powerful and a great God. His kingdom is everlasting and He is not
to be compared to idols or images.
Thereafter we should pray that the will of God be done in our lives and we should trust in
God and wait for Him to bring our blessing to us
We should then welcome His kingdom to come and be with us. When His presence
comes down, we are secure from everything working against our life. By inviting His
Kingdom to come and abide with us; all sicknesses leave our bodies, demons cry out
and leave, curses and poverty and yokes of the enemy are broken .
We should then pray that God will meet all our daily needs; food, clothing and shelter
and surely He who feeds the birds of the air is faithful to supply our every need.
By confessing and repenting all our sins, we receive the renewing power of God and are
right to stand in His presence by his sanctifying us and covering us with his
righteousness.
Our prayers and fasting should touch our heavenly father to deliver us from all evil and
temptations of the enemy. This prayer will guard against all plans of the enemy to attack
our lives and destroy us because as a roaring lion, Satan surely wants to swallow us
alive but God will not allow Him to overcome us.
We should also claim the blood of Jesus in our lives to cover us when in prayer and
fasting. We should cover our salvation, family, jobs, cars, journeys, ministry work and all
our activities with the blood of Jesus as this is the only way to protect ourselves from
the weapons of the enemy. The blood of Jesus is very powerful and it saves us from all
the traps of the enemy.

Results of Prayers and Fasting

Every time we pray and fast, God is faithful to do the following things in our lives;
i. All the promises of God in the bible become real in our lives
ii. God changes our habits and characteristics to be bold and strong warriors of faith
iii. We get an assurance of victory over our enemies and all weapons of the enemy are
destroyed from our lives
iv. Through prayer all our weaknesses are changed into strength and we are able to walk
with renewed energy in our Christian walk of faith
v. God puts His mighty hand on us and we overcome all accusations of the enemy and
we also receive new spiritual strength to overcome evil
vi. All sicknesses and temptations of Satan are removed from our lives

I would encourage you to pray and fast more and for sure, God will answer your every
request. When we separate ourselves from the desires of this world and fast to Him,
God hears from heaven and gives us new strength to face the world and also heals all
our sicknesses.
