1. Please ensure all details below are correct, this is a confirmed booking. Print this Confirmation and present it at
the Melbourne Museum Schools entrance upon arrival. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked time.

2. If you need to cancel or make significant change of more than 10 percent to your booking we require a minimum
of three weeks notice in writing (fax 03 8341 7778 or reply to this e-mail). Any bookings cancelled with less than
three weeks notice will be invoiced for the full amount.

3. Payment All education group bookings incur an education service fee

If your visit only incurs an education service fee, this must be paid on the day of your visit by cheque, cash
or credit card.
If your visit incurs extra program charges, you do not need to pay on the day, we can issue you with a tax
invoice for the final amount.
If you have pre-paid via EFT within one week of your visit, please bring proof of payment with you on the
day of your excursion.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Cancellation / Postponement

Cancellation for any visit to Melbourne Museum requires at least 3 weeks notice.

Failure to notify us with more than 3 weeks notice will result in you being charged for the total cost of the original
booking of the excursion.

All cancellations must be made in writing and sent via fax on (03) 8341 7778 or via email on
mvbookings@museum.vic.gov.au

Supervision

Supervisors accompanying groups are responsible for ensuring that students exercise appropriate behaviour while
visiting the museum. All supervisors must be over 18 and be supervising the school students only. Parents who bring
other children are not considered supervisors and will be charged at general public rates.

Museum Victoria free supervisor ratios are Preschool 1:3, Primary 1:5, Secondary 1:10, Tertiary 1:20. Some
exhibitions may not include free entry for supervisors.

Museum Shop

Students are welcome to browse and buy in the shop. We ask that no more than 10 students enter the shop at any
one time. A supervising adult must always be present.

All teachers receive a 10 percent discount on purchases over $10 on presentation of their MVTeachers card.

Risk Assessment

In you require further information about our First Aid or emergency procedures please ask for our Risk Assessment to
be emailed to you. We are also able to send a copy of our Public Liability insurance Certificate upon request.

Lunch Arrangements

There are no wet weather lunch areas. There are caf facilities for you to purchase lunch. Lunches can be ordered in
advance. Please call 1300 130 152 to discuss your requirements.
