The honorable committee of the speech contest,
And all participants and audiences,

First of all, lets pray and thanks unto our god Allah SWT who has been giving us some mercies and
blessings so we can attend in this wonderful event in good condition and happy situation.

My peace and salutation always be given to or prophet Muhammad SAW, who has guided us from the
darkness to the brightness from stupidity to the cleverness namely Islamic Religion that we love. So, by his
guidence we are able to differentiate the good thing and the bad one, the right way and the wrong one, in
order to enter gods paradise.

And I would like to say thank you so much to the Master of ceremony who has been giving me time to speak
in this unforgettable moment, entitled :

Ladies and gentlemen,

The future of our country depends on young generation. And the quality of young generation depends on
how the country treat them well by giving proper education.

School environment is a place where students spending most of their time to study and interract with their
friends and teachers. It has very important role to build student's character and intellectuality.

We face many different problems these days. And the problem is drugs, that cause the most problems.
Drugs cause bad decision making, comitting crime, and get people very addicted to bad habits. Drugs make
people don't think straight. When people don't think straight, they tend to make wrong choices. When people
make wrong choices, it usually put people around them in danger. And of course it is so dangerous and not
good for everyone.

Sometimes drugs are the reason why people going crazy. And gradually, it could lead them to their death.

Young people are still unstable. They need guidance, because sometimes they are unaware about things that
endangered themselves. And drugs are very serious threat for them.

Should we let young generation lost and crazy ? Should we let them die slowly ?

No !

Because the future relies on them.

Ladies and gentlemen.....

The issue of school safety is our concern. Its very important to develop good environment where learning
process can take place. Providing safe and drug free, school is very essential for achieving the best class
education.

Why is it important ?

Because today, drugs are everywhere. Its already affecting people from many elements. From ordinary
people in our society, young artist, state official, or even students and teenagers.

Young generation is in a great danger. When drugs come, we are seduced to consume it. What will happen
after that ?

DESTRUCTION ! And the future is dead !

Whats the meaning of our life if we are addicted to drugs ? Nothing ! Because our mind is broken.

O, young people... beware of the drugs ! Once we are addicted, we will lose everything. Everything !

My brothers and sisters.....

We are the students of Islamic School ( Madrasah ). For some reasons we have more religious lessons that
teach us Islamic principles, moral values and wisdom. We understand which one is good and which one is
bad. We know what we have to do in our life. And drug is absolutely forbidden. Those who live with drugs,
there will be no peace.

So,... my brothers and sisters, let's work together to create good environment in our school.

Make school safe, orderly, and drug-free requires our support and cooperation.

Allah said in holy quran Al-araf 55-56

Call upon your lord in humility and privately. Indeed, he doesnt like transgressors.

And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke him in fear
and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah SWT is near to the doers of good.

Happy Audience.....

Let's make the environment of our school become a healthy environment and drug free. Let's create our
school become a decent livable, fresh and comfortable place to study. Let's feel the state of good
physical health as well as mentally health, and far from any adverse effects and the influence of drugs.

Think about the trees, the fresh air, the shady places and flowers in the schoolyard. Think about the
greenhouse, tidy classroom and peaceful seat in our school. And think about the smile in our faces. Its
wonderful, isn't it ?

Brothers, sisters, ladies and gentlemen.....

We must learn how to be responsible, and we start it from ourselves.

The environment of our Islamic School (Madrasah) is our responsibility. We have to keep it well. We have to
save it from the danger of the drugs.

Finally, its enough from me at this point. If there are many mistakes in my words, it's because of me, and
the right one is merely from Allah SWT.
