INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING
YOUR PRESENTATION SLIDES

1. Using Keynote, choose the template Improv.

2. For each section you are responsible for, create a slide(s) that has
all the relevant information. Remember that too many words is not
ideal. Information should be bulleted. Pictures are good. No section
should be more than 3 slides.

3. You may change the color of the background and text for your
slides.

4. Email your completed slides to Coach Kramer by 11pm Sunday,

10/23. Be sure to put your group # in the bottom left corner of each
slide.

 Background Information

Both high school teams use the same size balls as the NBA and WNBA

NBA ball circumference is 29 5/8 inches

WNBA ball circumference is 28 5/8 inches

Average height for NBA is 6' 7" and WNBA 6'

Hand Length of NBA: 8.24 in. and WNBA: 7.76 in.

WNBA uses a smaller ball than the NBA because the avg. hand length
is smaller than the men's.

For the Boys:

it would make it easier for them to grasp the ball

For the Girls:

Easier to grip

Better to dribble

Hypothesis: The size of the basketball should not change

for the men's and women's high school basketball teams.

Conclusion:

Women's high school basketball should decrease in size

-the ratio of the ball to hand size of WNBA is
larger than the girls HS basketball team

Reading the tape measure wrong could possibly change

the outcome of our project
