Your Opinion of the Event (at least 3 sentences).
I am glad people have been taking action for this important issue. Even if it is not
happening to them, there are people out there who are taking action for those who cant. Not
many people are willing to spend their time if it isnt spent on them, and to see someone like
Kutcher standing up to the senate almost in tears, I know there are more people out there who are
willing to put an end to human trafficking.

Relate your Event to a Historical Event (compare and contrast with current event).
A historical event relating to mine would be slavery. It has always been around, though it
is now illegal, there are still cracks in the system where people find loopholes just to break this
law. When people first became slaves, with the Greeks, they chose to be. Because they couldnt
support themselves and they werent treated as bad as slaves were treated as time moved on
during the atlantic slave trade. Now, and during the atlantic slave trade, people were forced into
slavery with no hope of salvation. Today slavery is happening right under our noses, it is illegal
but that doesnt stop people from being taken.

Relate your Event to the subtheme (at least 3 sentences).

This event goes under the subtheme of conflict. With people not wanting to take action,
to the point where they have to talk to the senate at capitol hill. Where it might not even end with
all the effort we put into this, for new organizations will keep appear.
