NOTICE FOR ADMISSION TO M.Phil. and Ph.D. PROGRAMMES 

Applications   are   invited   (in   Form   A)   for   admission   to   M.Phil.   and   Ph.D.
programmes   in   different   subjects   (as   specified   on   University   website
www.uniraj.ac.in).   As   per   new   rules,   admissions   to   these   programmes   will   be
made   through   an   entrance   test   (Uniraj­MPAT)   for   each   subject/discipline.
Students willing to seek admission in affiliated colleges are also required to take
this   Test.   Students   who   have   qualified  UGC/CSIR   NET/  SLET   (conducted  by
Rajasthan State only)/ GATE/ Teacher fellowship holder will be exempted from
the test.  For M.Phil. programme, teachers permanently appointed prior to 1991­92
and  for Ph.D. programme permanent  teachers  appointed  on a substantive  basis
with three years of continuous service on regular pay scale are also exempted from
Uniraj­MPAT. However, students/teachers exempted from the Test are required to
fill in Form B. The Test will consist of two papers. Paper I will be common to all
the candidates and paper II will be separate for each Department/Centre.

2. Syllabi will be available on University website:  on June 21, 2010
3. Forms available from Registrar Office/ :  from June 14, 2010
on University website
4. Last date for submission of completed form:  July 10, 2010
(in respective Departments) July 19, 2010 (with   late
fee)
(students exempted from Test are required to submit the filled­in Form B
latest by July 19)
5. Cost of Application Form A or Form B: Rs. 250/­
6. Test fee (in the form of DD in favour of Registrar, UOR, Jaipur): 
    Rs. 1000/­ 
    Rs. 1250/­ (for downloaded from website)
    Rs. 1500/­ (late submission)
    Rs.  1750/­ (for downloaded from website and late submission)
7. Eligibility and reservations:  as per University rules
Students   awaiting   result   of   qualifying   examination   are   also   eligible   for
appearing   in   Unraj­MPAT­2010;   they   will   have   to   submit   the   result   of
qualifying examination by August 10, 2010.
