Early Head Start and Child Care Partnership Assessment

The NSCA EHS-CCP conducted an assessment for administration and direct support staff only.
The tool consisted of 28 premises, and only one of five choice could be selected. The choices were:
fully agree, partially agree, neutral, partially disagree, and fully disagree. The assessment tool also
had five open questions, the results of those questions are at the end. All questions were redacted
in English and Spanish, and the open questions were also responded in the staff prefer language.
The results of the questionnaire completed by the staff demonstrate the strengths of our EHS-
CCP program. In terms of facilities, coordination, programmatic aspects most of the staff fully
agree or agree that the Partnership is doing well. Recommended areas of improvement are: to
conduct more field trips for toddlers, to find a way to connect and engage with parents, to obtain
in-kind. We have mixed responses regarding general communication, some indicated that
communication needs to improve, other stated that is excellent. One of the responses for question
16 was to expand the zip codes, which could be ideal, based on many families that come to our
sites for orientation who are out of our current zip code areas.
