Completed comprehensive units on: classroom chemistry, electricity and magnestism, Alberta Sense of
Land, Alberta People. Various units in physical education, and math blitz involvement.
Started a weekly Ukelele Club providing students with the opportunity to participate in a musical extra-
curricular activity.
Planned, designed, and implemented a math essential outcomes chart and strategy guide in collaboration

Attended the ASCD Empower 2017 conference in Anaheim, California to focus on professional
development in literacy and exceptional learners.
Professional Inquiry Project during teaching internship focusing on continuous essential learning
outcomes in elementary and junior high mathematics. The project also focused on strategies to
compliment these outcomes. This project can be found on my professional portfolio.
Weekly attendance and participation in Elementary PLC meetings during teaching internship.
Assistance in planning and teaching parts of Niton Central Math Blitz from February 23 March 11,
2016.
Various Educational Undergraduate Society PD sessions including: job placement and technology in
the classroom.
Attended annual NCTCA in February, 2016. Sessions included: Three sessions on math fact fluency and
strategies in elementary school, Google Classroom, Delivery of Social Studies Education, and Dealing
