Amish Dress:

Men wear suits and coats without collars, lapels or pockets. Pants are worn with
suspenders, because belts are forbidden. Young men are clean shaven prior to
marriage, while married men are required to let their beards grow.
Women typically wear solid-color dresses with long sleeves and a full skirt, covered
with a cape. They never cut their hair and wear it in a braid or bun concealed with a
small white cap.
Both men and women wear clothing that is made at home of plain fabrics and is
primarily dark in color.
Peruvian Dress:
Clothing of Peruvian coast:
In the coast both men and women wear western style clothes which include jeans,
sneakers, t-shirts or jackets.
In men we can see suits with light-colored shirts, dark shoes and some accessories
like ties. In some parts of the coast clothes like pants and shirts are different in
terms of color. They also use straw hats.
Women wear wide skirts, sometimes more than one. They also wear high heels.
Clothing of the Peruvian Highlands:
In terms of clothing, in the mountains the people dress in colorful clothes.
In men we can see colorful ponchos covering their entire chest, pants with dark or
black colors. Men wear their hair short.
Women in the Peruvian highlands also often use colorful ponchos. They also wear
colorful skirts , these skirts have several layers that make it unique.
Women use:
Polleras: Colorful skirts made from hand woven wool cloth. Women may wear 3 or
4 skirts in a graduated layer effect.
Lliclla: A small rectangular hand woven shoulder cloth fastened at the front.
Monteras: Typical hats worn in the Andes.
Ojotas: Sandals made from recycled truck.
Youngest men generally wear Western-style clothing.
The Chaleco: is a woollen waist coat.
Ponchos: are the most distinctive part of mens clothing. They are generally red
and decorated with confused designs.

sombrero over the top of the chullo.
Clothing in the Peruvian Jungle:
The men are dressed in cotton clothes and blankets full of colors. They also wear
some crowns also belts and other accessories such as beads and feathers of some
birds.
Women in the jungle dont wear many clothes. Women use small blankets. In the
ankles women use beads and other accessories are connecting like the feathers of
some birds that live in the jungle of Peru.
