Parent & Child Dedication

Dedication shows that parents desire God's wisdom and strength as they
raise their children. Dedication doesn't ensure salvation, but it's a public

Baptism
Baptism Sundays | July 16 & October 8
The Christian life is a journey. For many of us, the journey is lined with
spiritual markers such as baptism. Baptism outwardly declares an inward
decision to follow Christ. It shows a commitment to obedience to Christ by
following His example of showing life and death through immersion in water.
Those interested in being baptized begin by contacting Toni Sather. Details
about the next baptism class will be shared in a one-on-one contact from
Toni. We have baptism three to four times a year. More information online
at mygrovechurch.org/baptism.

ADULTS.ABF
ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIPS [ABFS]
ABFs let you start connecting as family here at The Grove Church. In each of
our ABFs, you will have an opportunity to meet and build relationships with
other adults and study Gods Word together. ABFs provide a place to be
involved, known and loved.

Who can attend an ABF?

ABFs are open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older. You will find a mix
of newer attendees and longtime members in each group.

Why attend an ABF?

In a larger church, it can be hard to know where to start connecting with
others. Getting involved in an ABF will help you get to know other people
and let other people get to know you. Followers of Christ and those exploring
the Christian faith may desire to grow in their faith and connect with other
adults. ABFs facilitate your growth in faith and in friendship with others.

When do ABFs happen?

ABFs are offered on Sunday mornings during each worship service. You are
welcome to join a class at any time.

ABF Opportunities
SONRISE ABF (FOR EARLY RISERS OF ALL AGES)
Sundays | 8:00am | Youth Room
A gathering of like-minded early risers, married or single, wanting to
connect as they study God's Word, support one another and pray. Join
us at 7:45am for coffee fellowship before class.

ALL OTHER ABFS

The remainder of our regular ABFs including Resonate, Young Couples,
and Rediscovery are not meeting during the summer months. They will
meet occasionally for social events throughout the summer and start
regularly meeting at church again in September. Stop at the Welcome
& Information Desk to complete an ABF registration card to receive
updates about a particular ABF's summer activities!

For more info and registrations, visit mygrovechurch.org or call 763.420.6485. 15

ADULTS
CONNECT GROUPS
A great pair of running shoes fit snugly on an athlete actively keeping their
body in shape. In the same way, the Bible reminds us that the church is like a
human body. God designed us to be spiritually healthy and full of vitality. It
takes the right tools like Connect Groups to keep the church in great shape.
Gods plan for us is to connect and fit snugly together as a church family.

Made up of 10-14 people, Connect Groups meet about twice a month in a

relaxed atmosphere to develop caring relationships and grow in faith
together. They run for approximately two-three months with open
registrations twice a year. Groups often take the summer off or will meet
monthly for fellowship. Check the website for a list of Connect Groups,
descriptions, meeting times, availability and leaders' direct contact
information for the groups you are interested in joining.

Have a heart for growing authentic relationships and deepening faith in

others? If so, you may want to consider becoming a Connect Group leader.

Thursday | June 15 July 20 | $5 | Register & pay online
Mornings | 9:00-11:00am | Youth Room
Evenings | 7:00-9:00pm | Common Bond Meeting Room
If you are looking for a way to stay connected over the
summer, we have an opportunity for you. We are offering a six week
summer Bible study. This informal study will be looking at some of the
things we all wrestle with; worry, discontent, doing enough, navigating
change, healthy relationships and more. We will look at one of these
areas each week from the Bible. We often know the verses but we want
to learn how to put Gods Word into practice - so we can live in His
freedom and joy. The format will be exploring passages of scripture
together (no book) with time to share how God is teaching each Person.
We are unable to offer childcare for this study. Register and pay online.

MENS MINISTRY
Men's Ministry desires to help men develop a personal relationship with Christ
and be spiritual leaders in their homes, loving husbands and dedicated
fathers. In today's culture these roles can be challenging and confusing
to live out. We exist to help men grow and passionately share the love of
Christ. This can best be accomplished through daily Bible study, prayer and
service in an environment that has Christian men holding one another
accountable to live by faith and conviction.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
A TALE OF TWO COVENANTS BIBLE STUDY
Have you wondered what Jesus may have shared with the two disciples
while walking on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:27)? A Bible study called
A Tale of Two Covenants explores what Jesus likely highlighted. This study
traces God's ancient promises from Genesis to Revelation and helps
provide a solid biblical basis for missions. Taught by Rob Droullard, the
course can be covered in four sessions.
