And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for youask what you can

do for your country.

(President John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961)

So, my fellow Americans, what happened? Notwithstanding all the electric excitement JFKs words generated in 1961, few
today would argue that his call was heeded en masse. To be sure, some good things have, over time, been
accomplished. But, lets face it; the country has been drifting in a current toward a mindset of entitlement instead of
service for decades. What happened to the ideal encapsulated so succinctly in the young and energetic President
Kennedys inaugural speech? Does it survive yet today?

Perhaps more important, from where did that ideal come? Why did that idea of service so excite this nation during the first
few moments of JFKs presidency? I believe the answer lies in the fact that President Kennedy had simply tapped into a
reservoir which had been present since the very inception of our nation. His words ignited the fires of change because
they rang true in peoples minds. President Kennedy did not create the ideal of giving, but he was wise in perceiving its
existence and depth in the American psyche and values. Despite what the main stream media says, American values and
ideals are good and she deserves our love, respect, and allegiance.

For far too long, we Fly-Over citizens have allowed our values to be periodically used, sporadically courted, and often
ignored by the Democratic and Republican parties. And, I ask you, fellow Deplorables, where has this roller coaster ride of
the past 80 years gotten us? Is our country better off now? Have things improved in our society? Are we freer or less free
today? Are our faith and values more influential today than 100 years ago? Sadly, from a traditional perspective, I must
say we have lost ground big time during the past 100 years. That is the Democratic Party and the Republican Party
legacies to us, my Deporable friends. That is because, up until now, the globalist elites have controlled both major parties.
Their primary allegiance is to wealth and power, not to the America The Beautiful we love. And, have no doubt,
Deplorable Friend, they hate you just as much as they hate President Donald Trump. It is true, Donald Trump is not
perfect, but neither am I. I believe he is a smart man, and, despite that, I expect him to make some mistakes along the
way. But, I do believe he is our best chance for at least beginning the process of turning things around. He cannot
accomplish the job alone. He will need our prayers and support. One way of supporting him is to be willing to speak up.
That has been part of the problem, most people dont like to speak up.

You can be sure the left knows that and they have taken full advantage of our silence and passivity. They speak up.
They organize. They raise money. They take over school boards, community organizations, churches, city
councils, and state legislatures. Once in place, they implement their policies. You see, they are good at what they
do. And, we have allowed them free range.

However, all that began to change in 2015, when Donald Trump delivered his announcement speech. People began
listening to him. I think candidate Trump, like the new President Kennedy, saw something in the American public other
candidates missed. His words felt familiar and true and people like you and I responded by electing him President. He is
doing his part. Now, we need to do our part. This will be a forum dedicated to giving voice to the flyover country. So,
speak up, Deplorable friends. We are winning. I hope you will be involved and contribute. With support from enough of us,
President Trump will Make America Great Again!

President Kennedys speech, from which I quoted earlier, was one of the shortest inaugural speeches in history, but his
words trumpet a timeless and prophetic challenge across the years to a new generation of Americans:

And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globethe
belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.

We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and
place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americansborn in this
century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritageand unwilling to
witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this Nation has always been committed, and to
which we are committed today at home and around the world.

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any
hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty. (President
John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961)
