Purposes & Application
Aspirin or Acetylsalicylic acid is one of the type of drugs
used to treat patients who suffering from pain. This painkiller
drug will relieve mild to moderate pain as well as treat cancer
diagnosis such as colon cancer and breast cancer. Aspirin is a
Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug and Platelet Aggregation
Inhibitor. It is well-known as a personal care product which
usually consumed by tablets. [1] However, by consuming
regular aspirin over a 15-year period would lead to an absolute
increase in major bleeding events of between 0.16% and
0.81%. Not only healing pain but aspirin can prevent the
development of cancer if the person consume 600 mg of aspirin
a day up to four years will prevent colorectal and other cancers
associated with Lynch syndrome (a hereditary condition which
predisposes to cancer development). [2]
