I am a mother, wife and university student currently studying Cultural Heritage

Conservation at the University of Canberra. I have also studied Art History and
curatorship at the Australian National University. In order to enrol in the
conservation studies at the University of Canberra I had to withdraw from the
Australian National University. Once my conservation studies are completed I aim to
return to the Australian National University and complete my degree there.

I have over 30 years experience in variety of employments including, the military,

retail and security sectors, and have been involved in the running of a small
business, and have previously been selected into positions of responsibility within a
voluntary organisation. I have been employed in positions which have required me
to interact with the public in both service and security roles. I have always strived to
provide a high level of professionalism.

Additionally I have strong analytical and research skills, event management, time
management, customer service, record keeping and presentation skills, and sound
knowledge of Microsoft Office, various graphics packages and web design.

Eventually I want to complete both of my degrees and seek a career in cultural

institution as a conservator.
