To rst year IBDP students

Congratulations on choosing to study the IBDP however tough it may feel right
now, you will never regret that choice in future life.

Hopefully you have really enjoyed your rst year, and are feeling condent of
securing the university offers you would like, and the predicted grades you need.
It is important that you now take responsibility to maintain your momentum, and use
the summer break wisely to keep the material fresh, avoiding the well-known
summer dip.

If you are doing this at home on your own, do set yourself a realistic timetable to
spend some time over the holidays reviewing the material. If you would like some
support from IB teachers, to ll any gaps in your understanding, or perhaps to
make a really strong start to your nal year, do get in touch with OSC.

OSC is a network of experienced IB teachers from top IB schools all over the world
who come together in Cambridge UK, and Boston, USA to run Mid-IB Summer
Camps: IB cramming in the mornings and fun activities in the afternoons. You can
mix and match IB and support classes to suit your needs. It is great opportunity to
