We are reviewing for the EOGs this week with presentations, strategies and in-class practice!

We have finished reading Little Women and will be using class time to compare and contrast
between the film and the novel. If there is enough time, we will look at excerpts from more than
one film adaptation. Next week, we will do a quick study of Mark Twain and The Adventures of
Tom Sawyer.

Our final unit of study is on Native Americans and U.S. Geography! We will be discussing Native
American culture before, during, and after colonization and the geography of the United States as
it relates!

* Students should be working for no longer than 40 minutes per subject, per night. If you or your student
reaches a frustration point OR you are unclear of what needs to be done for the work, please send us an email
so that we can help your student first thing the next morning.
* Homework is only excused with a parent note.

6/9/17: Last day of school-noon release
