Other vendors DSC additional considerations
1. Interface type (I.e. RS-232C, RS-422, V.11, speed, sync or
async)
2. Will the DSC be dedicated to PNMS DCN or shared?
(PNMS needs the DSC channel to be dedicated.)
3. Is this point-to-point or point-to-multipoint? (PMC can only
use point-to-point links.)
4. How many hops of radio will the DSC span (in case of
radio)? [The distance between each NE.]
5. Is oversampling used in the DSC?
6. Available documentation on the interface (such as wiring
diagrams, etc.)
7. Do the customer had previous experience of using this
DSC?
