Announcement for Oxford

Oxford, Miss. (October 20, 2016)MaxxSouth Broadband has scheduled a launch event for
Thursday, October 27 at 1:30 p.m. to announce the build and deployment of important
technological advancements for the Oxford area.

The launch will take place at the Lafayette County Board chambers in Oxford, MS where the
press will be invited to hear speakers, including Mississippi State Representative Jim Beckett.
Also in attendance will be local community and government leaders, such as:

George Patterson, Oxford Mayor


Jay Hughes, Mississippi House of Representatives, District 12
Steve Massengill, Mississippi House of Representatives, District 13
Mr. Bill Canty, Field Representative for Senator Thad Cochran at U.S. Senate
Kevin Frye, Lafayette County Board Supervisor representing District 1

The upcoming announcement from MaxxSouth Broadband will introduce new services that
will be of great benefit to this community, local customers and businesses.

The launch will serve as a platform to explain how these upgrades will improve services
around the county. MaxxSouth employees will also address questions and details concerning
the enhancement, which will reach approximately 3,000 homes throughout the Oxford area.
