To Whom It May Concern:

I have known Miriam Zamudio for the past year, having served as her School
Counselor at The School of Science and Technology at the San Diego High School
Educational Complex.

While a student at The School of Science and Technology, Miriam has always
challenged herself academically. Throughout High School she has taken Advanced
Placement and Honors courses and is currently enrolled in five Advanced Placement
courses.

Miriam also excels at extra circular activities. She is a member of the San Diego High
School Wrestling team. Her team this year went to the state semi-finals. Through
wrestling she has learned about hard work, dedication and the positive results of
working together as a team.

Miriam has worked extremely hard in school to achieve her 3.38 GPA. She wants to
major in Environmental Science with hopes to find more natural alternatives to harsh
chemicals in our environment. She will be the first person in her family to go to college.
I know that she will succeed in any college or career she chooses.
