It has come to our notice that some unscrupulous agencies / persons are
fraudulently offering false employment opportunities in Hindustan Petroleum
Corporation Limited (HPCL). These bogus agencies have been conducting
telephonic interviews and claiming money from candidates as caution deposit.

It may please be noted that recruitment in HPCL is carried out centrally for all its
offices / Plants located across the country, through a well-established selection
procedure comprising of Written Test, Personal Interview, Medical fitness, etc.

The vacancies are notified thru open advertisement in all leading newspapers. Job
openings are also uploaded in our Corporate Website www.hindustanpetroleum.com
/ www.hpclcareers.com wherein the advertisement details and selection procedure
are clearly mentioned.

Interested & eligible individuals applying against our notifications are required to
apply ONLINE only in our Corporate Website. Application in any other mode is not
entertained.

HPCL does not solicit any money whatsoever from any candidates at any stage of the
recruitment process, other than the prescribed application fee as advertised in the
job notifications. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempt from payment of application
fees.

HPCL will not be responsible in any way for amount paid by the individuals to any
individual or group of individuals / agencies purporting to be representing HPCL.
