The IX.FORESTADENT Symposium in one
of Germanys most beautiful vacation regions.
Pforzheim/Black Forest 21. 23. September 2017
HAFTS OF SUNLIGH
A cuckoo is calling; a creek whispering
and shafts of sunlight are twinkling
between the fir trees like the precious gold of a gem
or that of a perfect smile. Life can hardly
be any more beautiful than in the Black Forest.
Dear Doctor
Your sincerely
Stefan Foerster
FORESTADENT Bernhard Foerster GmbH
The Black Forest.
Pristine nature, charming towns.
The Goldtown Pforzheim is often called the gate-
way to the Black Forest. For 110 years our family
owned company has been based here. From here
one can climb the lush green mountains, look into
enchanting valleys or take a bath in hot springs.
History can be experienced up close in Pforzheims
Technology Museum and on the short ride to the
UNESCO World Heritage Site Maulbronn Monaste-
ry you can catch a glimpse of heaven in our beau-
tiful landscape.
Pforzheim is located on the nort-
hern edge of the Black Forest and
idyllically situated at the junction
of the three rivers Enz, Nagold
and Wrm. Originally a Roman
settlement, the first reference to the city was found in documents of Emperor
Henry IV going back to the year 1067. With a population of 120.000 people,
Pforzheim is the 8th biggest city in the Federal State of Baden-Wrttemberg.

from Black Forest.
BLACK FOR
The Black Forest is one of
the most disarming ho-
liday regions and offers
something for each and
every taste. Embedded in
a nature which is breath-
taking in its morning mist
and with sunsets that create
pleasant anticipation of the
coming day.
Once it was kings coming to
the Black Forest and today it
is style-loving people from
all over the world. You can
indulge in the many old tra-
ditions but also just enjoy
solitude and silence.

family owned company into a ring spring rings and fastenings for necklaces for the
global brand. local jewellery industry. In 1934 we then started manufac-
turing watch movements under the brand name FORESTA.
The expertise from manufacturing smallest high-precision
parts and the experience in premium quality surface treat-
ment then became the groundwork for a very courageous
corporate decision: Instead of just watching the structural
changes in the business towards Far East, the grandsons of
the company founder, Gerhard and Rolf Foerster, saw their
chance in 1974. On the one hand they set up a manufacturing
site for jewellery on Mauritius, on the other they ventured
into manufacturing high-precision orthodontic products.
Looking back, it was a wise decision which made FORESTADENT
one of the top providers of dental materials for orthodontics
and which led the family owned company into the future.
