Grammar
Question Words
We use question words to build
information questions.
Use who for person. (persona)
Use where for place. (lugar)
Use when for time. (hora)
Use what for time. (que)
Use why for reason. (razn)
Use which for choice. (opcin)
Use how for amount. (cantidad)
Use whose for possession.(posesin)

Examples: Use the following order for some question words.

Question word + Auxiliary verb + Subject + Main Verb + Complement

What is your favorite movie?

Who are your friends?

When is the party?

Where are you from?

Whose car is It?

Why is he studying English?

Demonstratives
*Use demonstrative adjectives to indicate nouns position (near or far). Use this
and that for singular nouns and use those and these for plural nouns.

Examples:

far, plural -Those clips are pink.

near, singular -This pencil is new.

far, singular -That sharpener is good.

Possessives
*Use possessives to indicate ownership.

*To indicate possession with nouns we use


apostrophe and s or only apostrophe.

The car of my mother my mothers car
The cars of the boys the boy cars
The class of the teacher the teachers class

*To replace a possessive noun we use a possessive adjective.
