beginning a new year with MOMS club, lets keep coming together and
supporting each other. Us moms have a tough job, and there is nothing
like the camaradiere found in a community of moms to brighten the day.
With Mother's Day approaching, I hope you will each take some time to
celebrate yourselves for the amazing and important work that you do trasch-cans_orig.jpg)

Members of MOMS Club of Eugene had a great time touring the Santa
Clara Fire Station in April. They got to see a fire engine up close and
meet some real firefighters. Thank you to everyone who came out and a
huge thank you to Crystal for organizing this fun event!

Now that we the sun is starting to peek through the clouds, make the
most of those windows of warm weather by getting outside. Teach color
recognition and help your toddler burn some energy with this Toddler
Color Hop (http://www.learnplayimagine.com/2013/03/gross-motor-
activity-for-toddlers-color.html).
We need your help! Our chapter is still in need of volunteers for the
Secretary and Marketing positions. Contact Tia or any board member
to find out more.

Spend some time picking flowers with the littles to make this
beautiful Sun Catcher. (http://handsonaswegrow.com/craft-for-
toddlers-nature-collage-suncatcher/)If you would like to press the
flowers before making them, collect fresh flowers in the morning and lay
flat on a paper towel and place between the pages of a book for a day or
two. Try not to squish the flowers with anything heavy. Pressed flowers
can be used to make bookmarks, cards, or decorate candles.
Here are a few photos from our nature walk at Delta Ponds. We enjoyed a
warm spring day and even caught sight of a turtle. Thank you to
everyone who came out. Lets do some more hikes this summer!
