1.-Responsabilities
Manage Targets for Cost, mass, quality
Manage Vehicle Timing Plan to communicate milestones and deliverables
Generate Modularity Plan and System Boundaries
Generate Engineering Build Plan (Physical Hardware Builds)
Communicate and manage warranty targets in IPTV and cost/car for the subsystem
Design Review Subsystem
Select Components to be Used, issue BMBs as needed
BOM Reconciliation
Identify Build Process for Body Components
Review Mule Vehicle Design
Meet all MRD Requirements
Support IRT activities
Resolve Vehicle Build Issues
Acquire Parts That are Outside the MRD Req. for Vehicle Updates
Develop PERFORMANCE ICD's with other SMT
Negotiate ICDs from other area/function
Management of Physical Interfaces-components integration into compartment
Present Body Changes at CAB
Approve Body Position presented at CPIT
Participate at Compartment Integration Team Reviews (CIT)
Conduct PDTs for subsystem
Maintain Program BOM from Catalog of Engineering Solutions
Create Engineering Parts List
Write, manage and get approval of Engineering Work Orders (EWO)
Participate at CPIT as required
Initiate Vehicle Parts lists
Establish Assembly Breakdown
Reconcile EPL/BOM
Initial work to create SSTS
Management of inputs to SSTS
Resolve PRTS Issues - DRE CHAMPION /DE CHAMPION DESIGNEE
Participate in Vehicles Launch(es)
Resolve all Plant Issues
Conduct Body DFMEA
Conduct Body SUBSYTEM DFMEA, DRBFM & DRBTR
Update Vehicle to Latest Body Content
Provide Parts Readiness Reports
Provide info for Owner's Manual
Maintain Service Updates
Write, own and manage TWOs & BCRs
Knowledge: Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Knowledgeable in Structure, Closures &
Exterior components, subsystem integration and program management. Knowledgeable in
Manufacturing processes (Assembly and Components -stamping, injection, blow molding, etc
Skills: Proficient on tools and processes: math visualization and management , GPDS, GVDP,
DCS, PDT, eSOR, ePeer review, DCS & cost estimate, PRTS-7 diamond, GD&T , KPC, PQC,
DRBFM, DFMEA, DRBTR, Launch process
Experience/Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Competencies: Proven experience to design, develop and execute N level changes; high on
decision making, drive for results, teamwork, communication, customer focus and problem
solving.
