Informe del Día Internacional de Oración por el Incremento Tecnológico en la Iglesia

El Día Internacional de Oración se celebró el Sábado 7 de Febrero de 2009 con el fín de orar por el
incremento en el uso de tecnologías para la evangelización y la educación en los 31 países que comparten
el Boletín de Proyectos y Actividades Tecnológicas (http://fit.um.edu.mx/interamericanit).

Agradecemos a nuestros lectores que oraron y oran con nosotros. Les enviamos saludos especiales a los
amigos en la Ventana 10/40 (Tailandia, Italia, Alemania, España, Pakistan, y Rumania).

La idea del Día Internacional de Oración surgió al ver la necesidad de dirección Divina que como
Facultad de Ingeniería y Tecnología en la Universidad de Montemorelos tenemos en tres ámbitos
importantes:

- INTEGRACIÓN para la realización de proyectos tecnológicos internacionales

- IMPLEMENTACIÓN de nuevos proyectos tecnológicos en la Iglesia Adventista
- INVESTIGACIÓN de tecnologías que apoyen la predicación del evangelio y la educación

Convocatoria de Devocionales Tecnológicos

Una de las tareas más importantes de nuestras instituciones adventistas es la de fundir adecuadamente la
fe y el aprendizaje. En el caso de carreras tecnológicas, debemos mezclar la fe con conceptos
tecnológicos que ayuden a nuestros estudiantes a comprender verdades eternas desde su campo de
estudio.

La Facultad de Ingeniería y Tecnología, Universidad de Montemorelos, lanza una convocatoria para crear
el primer libro de devocionales tecnologicos en la historia de la Iglesia Adventista. Estudiantes y
profesores son bienvenidos a escribir en una hoja entre 280 y 330 palabras relacionando algún tema
espiritual (dando la cita bíblica) con un tema tecnológico.

Se aceptarán los mejores 30 escritos que formarán parte de un libro electrónico que la Facultad de
Ingeniería y Tecnología distribuirá a lo largo del territorio de la División Interamericana. Su nombre
aparecerá publicado.

La fecha límite para enviar sus artículos es el 1ro de Mayo de 2009 a: harveyalferez@um.edu.mx

noticias tecnológicas publicadas son responsabilidad única y exclusiva de la Universidad de Montemorelos.

La intención de nuestro boletín es la de dejar abierta la invitación a otras instituciones de educación superior de la División Interamericana para unir esfuerzos

Report of the International Prayer Day for Increasing Technology in the Adventist
Church
The International Prayer Day was held on Saturday February 7, 2009 in order to pray for increasing
technology for evangelism and education in the 31 countries that share the Bulletin of Technology
Projects and Activities (http://fit.um.edu.mx/interamericanit).

We thank our readers who prayed and pray with us. We send special greetings to our friends in the 10/40
Window (Thailand, Italy, Germany, Spain, Pakistan, and Romania).

The idea of the International Prayer Day came to our minds when we saw the need for Divine guidance as
Faculty of Engineering and Technology in three major areas:

- INTEGRATION for the construction of international technological projects

- IMPLEMENTATION of new technological projects in the Adventist Church
- RESEARCH of technologies which support the Gospel and education

Let's continue praying for these three areas. This is additional information about the event:

Call for Writing Technological Devotionals

One of the most important tasks of our Adventist institutions is the proper integration of faith and
learning. In the case of technology, we must mix faith with technological concepts to help our students to
understand eternal truths from their field of study.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Montemorelos, launches a call to create the
first book in the history of the Adventist Church with technological devotionals. Students and teachers are
welcomed to send your papers between 280 and 330 words about spiritual issues (with the Biblical quote)
with a technological focus.

The best 30 papers will be accepted. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology will distribute the book
throughout the territory of the Inter-American Division. Your name will be published.

The deadline is May 1, 2009. Please send your papers to: harveyalferez@um.edu.mx

the unique and exclusive responsibility for publishing research projects and technology news.

The intention with our bulletin is to invite other higher education institutions in our Inter-American Division to join efforts in the development of information
