It is in our human nature to disobey rules, to disobey people. Our country, the beautiful

home of the free and the brave, was founded on the act of disobedience. Although many claimed

that disappearance is the cause for War, Hate, and strife, in reality disobedience is important in

developing one's personality as well as in encouraging social improvements throughout our

nation.

While disobedience may be seen as a nasty characteristic to have, it build other good

qualities that change an individual for the better. For instance, in the movie, The Hunger Games,

Katniss Everdeen disobeyed the capitals and because of that she developed strong leadership

qualities. Growing up, Katniss learned to fight to keep her family alive, she disobeyed the rules

and hunted outside of their fences in order to feed her family. The skills she developed when

hunting ensured her survival during the games. Due to her disobedient nature and strong-willed

attitude, Katniss was able to develop leadership and lead the rest of the districts to rebell against

the capitol and fight for freedom. Although was seen as a nuisance to the capital comma it saved

her life and the lives of many others.

Not only does disobedience create leadership qualities but it develops character within an

individual that helps them lead and rebellious acts. Wow rebellious acts may lead to war, the

outcomes and courage changes within our society that are for the better. How was America

founded? America, home to many, was founded through Rebellion. The original settlers rebelled

against the king, fighting for our independence and freedom. Although this Rebellion caused

many battles, many wars to break out, had our founding fathers never rebelled we would not live

in the same country we do today. This Rebellion bettered our society and greatly encouraged
social improvements throughout the years. Not only did we rebel against Britain but we rebelled

against slavery. This Rebellion while not the cause of many wars, fueled a burning fire that kept

our nation blazing and eventually gave slaves their god-given freedom. Had it not been for the

disobedience of our founding fathers and many others during history our nation would not be

what it is today.

Although naysayers claim that the act of rebelling causes more problems than it solves

comma it is certain that without disobedient and rebellious ask our nation, our way of life would

not be the same.
