Faith Fellowship Influence On Me

Throughout my time at Faith Fellowship Christian School, I have been influenced through

example and teaching. As a student, I have noticed that this school makes it a priority to give me the

opportunity to gain a faith based education, along with a healthy relationship with God. One major

example that highlights this goal is that both the teachers and staff provide daily encouragement and

wisdom on their personal struggles and how God has been able to strengthen their faith as a result of it.

Because of Faith Fellowships positive influence on me, I have been able to better strengthen my faith

throughout my Christian walk.

Faith Fellowship Christian School has played an important role in positively influencing my

Christian walk. Some ways in which the school has helped influence me is by teaching me at a young

age what it means to be a Christian and walk by faith and not works. I am thankful that all of the

teachers and staff have a certain level of experience in that they, in many ways, have had very similar

struggles as I do. The staff has shown me that I am not the only person who struggles with keeping

their faith in times of strife; they have helped to understand we as humans constantly need the Lord

regardless of whether or not we think we can take care of ourselves. This has allowed me to better

relate with the staff at Faith Fellowship and thus gain a stronger friendship with the School and also

strengthen my faith.

Throughout my time at Faith Fellowship, I have also been able to firmly defend my faith by

being able to understand it better. Our daily Bible classes and weekly Chapel services are excellent

examples of teaching methods that have helped me to better understand what it means to be a Christian.

An example in particular has been in chapel over the past couple of Wednesdays when Pastor Gray

was explaining how the scientific community was in full denial of any form of creation. He mentioned

that while many of the students who grow up in Christian homes tend to have a strong faith in God;

once they move on to college their faith is put to the test by professors and other students. As a result of

this, he explained that since these students dont have the same faith based family around them, they

tend to lose their faith through failing to successfully defend it. Through Pastor Grays teaching, I

learned a lot of valuable tools that I can use to help me remain strong in my faith. Some of these tools

include being able to actually understand the creation story and how it is expressed in the Bible and

being able to not argue and debate with those of other beliefs, but instead discussing and reasoning with

them so that they may gain a new Christian perspective.

Faith Fellowship Christian School has influenced me in many areas of my life; by helping me to

strengthen my faith and teaching me valuable life lessons along with my regular education. In

particular, the school has been a great leader to me through example. The strong faith and wisdom of

the teachers and staff have given me excellent references to how Christians should live and what living

by faith actually means. I am overly grateful to God for allowing me to be in a healthy Christian

environment where I can trust others who share my same goal which is to strengthen my faith and

continue to pursue Gods glory.
