To whom it may concern,

I am submitting this resume because I am looking for a summer/ part time job, and I think that I
have the skill and responsibility to work at Best Friends Pet Care.

Currently, I am a junior at Garnet Valley High school. Over my last few years here I feel that I
have accomplished a lot. I have participated in the GVHS chorus, softball team, and the
National Art Honor Society. Each of the activities are very different, which shows my ability to try
new things. During my freshman year, the high school chorus went to Disney World during
spring break to perform. While I was there, we were allowed to walk around the parks without an
adult present, as long as we checked in. I believe this shows my ability to be responsible and
trustworthy even without an adult or authority figure around. I was Inducted into the National Art
Honor Society last year, I have always worked hard and done well in art because it is something
I am interested in, This shows that I am a very hardworking person and I do not give up very
easily. I have been playing softball since I was young, if I dedicate myself to something I do not
give up. Over the last few years playing softball I have made the Garnet Valley High School
Varsity Softball team, became co-captain of the last three tournament softball teams I have
been on, and made playoffs with the High School Varsity team. I believe all of these things have
helped me mature and become a better person overall. Becoming the captain of my teams have
proved to me that I am very good in a leadership position, I am good at being a role model for
others and I think that each of these traits would make me a good fit for Best Friends Pet Care.

I believe that I would do a very good job working at Best Friends Pet Care because I have good
leadership skills as well as the qualities required to do this job. Thank you for taking the time to
