Know all men by these presents that I Henry Vanamburgh of Farmington Oakland County Michigan in
consideration of twenty two dollars to me paid by Lorilla Parks of the same place the receipt whereof I
do hereby acknowledge do by these presents give grant bargain sell and convey unt[o] the said Lorilla
Parks her heirs and and [sic] assigns a certain parcel of land situate in Farmington aforesaid and
described as follows to wit: beginning at the quarter stak[e] on the south line of section fifteen in
Township No one North of Range No Eight East in the district of Detroit and Territory of Michigan
running thence East forty rods thence North to the line of the United States road line running from
Detroit to the mouth of Grand River thence westardly along sai[d] road line until it strikes land
owned by Willis Pardee thence south along the east line of said Pardee land to the place of
beginning containing seven and a half acres be the same more or less; Together with all the privileges
and appurtenances to the said land in any wise appertaining and belonging to have and to hold the above
granted premises to the said Lorilla Parks her heirs and assigns to her and there [sic] use and behoof
forever and [that] the said Henry Vanamburgh for myself my heirs executors and administrators do
covenant with the said Lorilla Parks her heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the
aforegranted premises that they are free from all incumbrances that I have good right to sell and convey
the same to the said Lorilla Parks as aforesaid and that I will and my heirs executors and administrators
shall warrant and defend the same to the said Lorilla Parks her heirs and assigns for ever against the
lawful demands of all persons

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of March in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three
