Know all men by these presents that I Henry Vanamburgh of Farmington Oakland County Michigan in
consideration of fifteen dollars to me paid by Smith Parks Jr of the same place the receipt whereof I do
hereby acknowledge do by these presents give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Smith Parks
Jr his heirs and assigns a certain parcel of land situate in Farmington aforesaid bounded and described
as follows viz: Beginning where the United States Road line leading from Detroit to the mouth of
Grand River crosses the west line of the west half of the south east quarter of section no. fifteen
in township one north of range eight east in the District of Detroit and Territory of Michigan
running thence north fifty six rods thence east twenty rods thence south to the said Road line
thence west bearing north along said road line to the place of beginning containing seven acres of
land. Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the said land in any wise appertaining and
belonging. To have and to hold the above granted premises to the said Smith Parks Jr his heirs and
assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises that they are free from all
incumbrances that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Smith Parks Jr as aforesaid
and that I will and my heirs executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said
Smith Parks Jr his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful demands of all persons.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of March in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three.

and delivering the above deed [there was no interlining/correction indicated; it may have been corrected
at the time it was written into the deed book]
