3 THINGS TO DEFINE

1. DEFINE YOUR PURPOSE

(Answers the question: Why do you exist?)
You need to define well what is your purpose as a church.
2 things can and will happen.
you concentrate on a wrong purpose and miss out on the right ones.
You concentrate on a right purpose but neglect the others.
Its ok to have a School. Military ministry. Pastoral Fellowships.
They are ok. But that is not your life as church.

Worship. Fellowship. Discipleship. Ministry. Mission.
Worship God. Win Souls. Make Disciples.

2. DEFINE YOUR STRATEGY

(Answers the question: How will you fulfill your purpose?)
CPM

House church
Purpose Driven
Cell Group Ralph Neighbor, Yongi Cho

Even Jesus had a strategy:

Matthew 15:24
He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
NIV

3. DEFINE YOUR CORE VALUES

(Answers the question: How would you like to be remembered?)

Core values are traits or qualities that represent an individual's or organization's

highest priorities, deeply held beliefs, and core, fundamental driving forces.
CORE VALUES:

d. Clarifies who we are

g. Unbendable, uncompromising, steadfast

Your Core Values will define the future culture of your church.
If will not define what church culture you want, a year from now you will have a
culture, whether you like it or not, and chances are you will not like what you will
have.
